Rick teaches on the Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma course as well as 18 Edition Wiring Regs, 2391 Inspection and Test and BS7909 Temporary Power Systems.
He has over 25 years experience working in the professional entertainment and electrical industries on temporary events and exhibitions. Before moving into the heritage sector, Rick started working in professional theatre, then progressed to live events and outside broadcast work. His extensive background led to work on temporary exhibitions and events; design, construction and installation of power distribution for corporate events and temporary exhibitions. One of Rick’s favourites from over the years, was a request to design the lighting for the exhibition Saving Lives: A History of Frontline Medicine at the Imperial War Museum North.
Outside of work, Rick enjoys martial arts and collecting all things retro.
