Special Announcement: Coronavirus – arrangements for your training course at Erudite Training
Monday 23rd March 2020 (2:50pm)
After careful consideration, and with the safety and welfare of our staff and students in mind, we have taken the difficult decision to suspend all scheduled training courses with immediate effect and until further notice.
All students who are due to visit the centre this week have received/will receive a telephone call from our office staff today to explain.
Our intention is to reschedule all courses as soon as we are able and to be in contact with you all as the situation changes. We’re looking into the possibility of offering some online training and will keep you updated if this is an option for you.
We will also be keeping our website updated with the latest news from Erudite.
In the meantime we hope you and your families keep safe and well.
Thursday 19th March 2020 (1:30pm)
We promised to keep you updated with our arrangements in response to the latest COVID-19 Guidance for Businesses.
For now we will be continuing as normal, putting in place all the necessary safety and preventative measures for staff and students, these include;
- Asking students to wash their hands on entering the centre
- Signage in place providing guidance
- Individual desks
- Regular cleaning and sanitising of all high touch points, e.g. door handles, taps, desks etc.
- A clear and immediate policy for responding to any student or member of staff displaying symptoms
With all of this in place, all classes and courses will continue as planned.
If you are currently self-isolating and are due to visit our centre in the next 2 weeks we ask you to contact us on 0161 425 7996.
As ever, this is a dynamic situation that we will respond to as things change; we will keep our website & Facebook page updated with the latest guidance, and will keep in contact with all students by email as things change.
Tuesday 17th March 2020
As a training provider, we are closely monitoring the developing situation regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and the advice being given to learning institutions by the Government and Public Health England. Currently, the advice is that we remain open taking the necessary steps to ensure both staff and students are as safe as possible.
This is a dynamically changing situation which we will need to respond to on a day by day basis, but for now (Tuesday 17th March 2020) all classes/courses will continue as normal unless you hear from us otherwise.
We are asking all students and staff to adhere to the guidelines provided to look after themselves. We ask that you wash your hands when you come into the centre, and regularly throughout the day. We are arranging for each student to sit at a separate desk to provide more individual space and as a centre we are regularly sanitising high touch points eg. door handles, bannister rails, taps etc.
We are looking to quickly implement ways in which classes can continue longer term where a student needs to self-isolate but could still access the classroom learning.
That’s all for now, but we will keep in touch as things change.
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
